Houston Places | McGovern Centennial Gardens

Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion

I started a new series on The Simple Detail called Houston Places. I want to share with you my favorite places that I have been to. One of my favorite places is McGovern Centennial Gardens.

Last Spring I went to McGovern Centennial Gardens for the first time. Walking up to the entrance, and into the pavilion, I remember seeing a photographer taking photographs of a graduate with big gold numbered 2 0 1 7  balloons swaying in the warm Spring air. As Scott and I ventured in, I kept on seeing more photographers and their dressed up clients. I also saw families relaxing on the lush Centennial Green and couples hand in hand walking through the Rose Garden . It really was as beautifully pictured as I had seen it on someone’s Instagram page. Truly a fashion blogger’s dream!
